Sewer Bypass and 15th Ave Pump Station Work

The Contractor is currently constructing the 15th Avenue Pump Station's new control panel slab and plans to pour the slab at the end of this week. Once the slab has been poured, the new control panel will be installed.

Beginning this Friday, the Contractor will begin constructing sewer bypasses on 14th, 15th, and 16th Avenue as well as Geoffroy Drive in preparation for the microtunneling work. Sewer bypasses are used to reroute the existing sewer line around the limits of excavation. Installing bypasses allows the new manholes to be safely placed without an interruption to service. Bypass construction will occur at the areas shown in the map below.

Expect a small crew with some heavy equipment around the affected areas. There may be some short traffic delays, but access to all residences will be provided. As a reminder, feel free to call the project line at (831) 708-8285 with any questions.
